Orbit is a one-on-one competitive multiplayer game inspired by the green shells from Mario Kart and Tron. Players battle each other as colored spheres by trying to strike the other player with one of their smaller spheres. To do this players can launch their orbiting spheres out from them in hopes of hitting their opponent. They can also recall their spheres to create a more protective shield or ready another volley. Players must balance aggression and defense in this quick and fun battler.

Orbit was created in a single day. For assets I was limited to using only the Unity primitives and five colored circles to create the entire game. I got away with only using cubes, spheres, and two of the colored circle assets. I wanted Orbit to be a small but stylish game where players could quickly jump in, listen to some cool music, play a few rounds and then move on. To this end I believe I was successful.

I am pretty fond of this project, and I don't entirely know why.
